What is a Green Deal Provider?
The Green Deal Provider is the organisation who will provide the financing for the measures to be installed on the property.

The Green Deal Provider will look to contract in the Green Deal Advisor to provide the Green Deal Assessment, and Green Deal Installer to carry out the installation. They will design, organise and facilitate the installation to ensure that the installation process runs smoothly from beginning to end. This includes being responsible for all paperwork that is completed both by themselves, the Green Deal Advisor and the Installer.
The Green Deal Provider registration process opened in August 2012 with the number of original interested parties being 22 and including the likes of B & Q and British Gas. Within the first month of the scheme launching ie. October 1st 2012. 10 organisations had already been approved as Green Deal Providers.
